Vivienne Westwood war ein produktiver Designer, der die Modebranche nachhaltig geprägt und verändert hat Punk Bewegung der 70er, während sie gleichzeitig eine neue Rebellenästhetik populär macht. Dies wurde bei der Herbst-Show 2023 der Marke am Samstag deutlich, die dem Designer Who Tribut zollte verstorben Ende letzten Jahres. Mit Westwoods Ehemann Andreas Kronthaler An der Spitze der Marke waren Hinweise auf Westwoods Vermächtnis offensichtlich.
Inszeniert in einem palastartigen Veranstaltungsort mit französischen Barockdetails, spiegelte die Kulisse Westwoods maximalistischen und dekorierten Geschmack angemessen wider. Klassische, barocke Musik spielte im Hintergrund, während Models zwischen den Kolonnaden spazierten, bevor sie das großzügige Innere betraten.

Als klare Hommage an die Gründerin zeigte der Eröffnungslook ein weißes T-Shirt mit ihrem Gesicht, gepaart mit einem Minirock mit Schottenmuster, der über einem Paar gemusterter Leggings lag. Es folgten extravagantere Looks mit Modellen mit Gothic-Nummern, Puffschultern und Lagen aus Ochsenblut-Stoff; Westwoods charakteristischer Korsettrock, der sich in kollidierenden Blumenmustern ausbreitet; und Netzkleider gepaart mit hoch aufragenden Absätzen.
Sara Stockbridge, eine ursprüngliche Muse von Westwood, war zurück auf dem Laufsteg, in einer blauen Nummer mit winzigen floralen Akzenten. Irina Shayk trug auch ein tiefes Kleid aus synthetischem, gerafftem Chiffon, das in der Taille mit einem Kordelzug zusammengezogen und mit Taschen auf beiden Seiten versehen war. Westwoods Enkelin Cora Corre schloss die Show in einem Brautlook, bestehend aus einem korsettierten Spitzen-Minikleid, kombiniert mit gemusterten weißen Plateaustiefeln und winzigen Haarspangen.
