Maximilian Davis fortsatte att utöka sin vision för Ferragamo på etiketten Hösten 2023 landningsbana, som markerade hans andra samling för märket. Bygger på förra säsongens utbud, vilket gav det italienska märket ett sexigt, nytt utseende, den 67-delade showen kommunicerade en glamorös version av minimalism som var allt annat än tråkig.
Ferragamos höst är full av överdimensionerade väskor, enkla silhuetter och ett fortsatt förslag om att byxor är helt valfria, men ogenomskinliga svarta strumpbyxor är värda att utforska. Inte ett tryck eller ett mönster var i sikte, men Davis lekte med en slående färgpalett - marinblå, röd, vit, skiffergrå och svart — såväl som strukturelement (till exempel att skapa en enkel linneklänning i flytande vinyl) för att skapa visuella intressera. Kontrasterande knappar längs en topp framhäver kroppens kurvor, medan enkelknäppta kappor får asymmetriska stängningar för en sofistikerad kant.
Mer än det subtila glam- och siluettspelet är Davis accessoarer en uppenbar höjdpunkt i kollektionen, med en rad överdimensionerade handväskor stora tillräckligt för att passa en stor hund och slarviga men ändå strukturerade fickböcker slängda avslappnat under modellernas armar, som påminner om cyklister som bär sina hjälmar efter åkturen.
