Alberta Ferretti staat bekend om het draperen en instoppen van de meest etherische jurken. Maar voor Lente 2024, denkt de Italiaanse ontwerper meer aan het alledaagse: de katoenen stoffen, de overhemden en de kledingstukken (zelfs bikini's) waar haar klant misschien naar wil grijpen als ze zich niet helemaal aan het aankleden zijn omhoog.
Ferretti laat haar gewoontes niet helemaal los: er zijn nog steeds veel luchtige, doorschijnende stoffen en avondaanbiedingen, maar ze leven naast linnen jumpsuits en overhemdjurken. Zelfs als we japonnen zien, hebben ze een lijfje geweven van lintstrengen (waarbij de staarten sierlijk naar beneden hangen) en een rok van tule, wat ze een modern tintje geeft. Elk ensemble belichaamt het gevoel dat de drager, ongeacht waar hij heen gaat, nog steeds in de glamoureuze wereld van Ferretti leeft.
