Dior představila svou nejnovější kolekci haute couture od Maria Graziai Chiuri, inspirovaný Josephine Bakerová.
Prostřednictvím převážně černobílé barevné palety – kromě nějaké stříbrné a tlumené zelené – řada jaro 2023 zdůrazňuje řemeslné zpracování ateliéru domu prostřednictvím konstrukce: blejzry s ostrými ramenními vycpávkami, korzetové šaty, cinched kabáty. Jako vždy Chiuri naplňuje kolekci doteky ženskosti, vyjádřené květinovými nášivkami. na průhledném topu, nabíranými rukávy na jemném kardiganu a hravými střapci houpajícími se na lemu sukně.
Dlouhé černé hedvábné cady šaty a fialové sametové šaty připomínají Bakerův styl a éru, ve které žila, stejně jako glam na všech modelech. Dům také vzdal poctu umělci sadou, která představovala umělecká díla vytvořená Mickalene Thomas pomocí obrázků Bakera.
Mnoho celebrit – včetně ambasadora značky Yara Shahidi, Anya-Taylor Joy a Jisoo z Blackpink — byli přítomni. Včetně hvězdicové přední řady Rachel Zegler, Kirsten Dunst a Elizabeth Debicki.
